Pride: Frantic Mind of the Emotional Titan
Becoming so emotionally frantic that you believe you deserve more or something better. Pride is entitlement! You deserve nothing … you are just a person and that is wonderful but does not come with a benefit other than Sapience :)
Lust: Ravenous Destruction of Unsuspecting Innocence
This is about consuming others in the hopes that they will make you feel more complete. It is not just about screwing everyone you can or conquering people sexually, although if you are harming others in that process then yes it applies. But more than that, any time you convince another to harm themselves for your benefit then you are giving in to Lust.
Sloth: Decline of Empathy to Appease Serenity
Becoming so emotionally taxed that you decide to remove things from your life to gain some peace back to your life. But this is a slope that leads to you removing things that you need from your life and you are abandoning people who need you. You are not more important than anyone else and you should care.
Greed: Enthusiastic Acquisition of Unseen Irony
Wealth without need. The belief that cause you earned it, you can hoard it … just in case. This makes a person a monster, the base assumption that what is yours it yours and others should earn their own is a slippery slope. You are overtaken by the monster that you create and hoard. When you have, you should give, you are the one that can make a difference for others at that point. The Catholic church has traditionally been this to the world, hording far more than need warrants and giving far less than what is needed.
Gluttony: Ironic Despair of the Consumed Man
Doing something that hurts you. and rationalizing the need to feel bad away cause you are only hurting yourself and therefore you are not hurting anyone. But you are still hurting yourself!
Wrath: Unnecessary Levee of Unwanted Rage
This has nothing to do with killing someone … if you kill someone you will have regret (unless you are psychotic). Wrath is the desire to harm someone but you do not … then you praise yourself for having not hurt them giving no thought to the fact that you just wanted to harm another … which is a huge fucking problem!
Envy: Tragic Reliance on the Kindness of Others
This is about subtracting bits of yourself away and hoping someone fills in the gaps. Being less than you are so that you will get told you are better than you are acting. You play this as being humble but you are only doing it to hear the compliments.
