The meaning behind this piece is the extreme closeness felt in a loving relationship. Feeling like the other person exists in your bones, in your soul. The heart shaped pelvis is symbolic of the childbirth that comes from that perfect union. With that child, you are passing yourself on through them, "Where I end and You begin."
Falling in love and being holistically accepted in that relationship lead to this piece. Also, my deep love of human anatomy is present in a lot of my work.
